့ေအးျမတ္သူဆုိတာ အရမ္းလွတဲ့ မိုဒယ္ဂဲလ္လို႕ ေျပာပါတယ္။
My name is Khun Na. My Myanmar
name is Aye Myat Thu which is given to me by my teacher. He said that Aye Myat
Thu is a very beautiful model girl in Myanmar.
အရင္တပတ္က မတူက ယုန္နဲ႕လိပ္အေၾကာင္းကို
ျမန္မာလို ေျပာျပခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဗဟုသုတ အမ်ားႀကီး ရပါတယ္။ ျမန္မာ စကားလံုး အသစ္ေတြလည္း သိရတယ္။
ျမန္မာစကား အသံုးအႏႈံး အသစ္ေတြလည္း သိရတယ္။ အဲဒီအတြက္ ေက်းဇူးတင္ပါတယ္ မတူ။
Last week, Ma Tu told us the
story of the hare and the tortoise in Myanmar language. We have got a lot of
knowledge from that. We have learned many new Myanmar vocabularies. Moreover,
we have also learned various new Myanmar usages. Thank you Ma Tu for this.
ဒီတပတ္ ဆရာက ကၽြန္မကို
စကားေျပာဖို႕တာ၀န္ ေပးပါတယ္။ က်မေျပာရမွာကလည္း ျမန္မာပံုျပင္ တပုဒ္ပါဘဲ။ ၀ံပု ေလြနဲ႕
ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားဆုိတဲ့ ပံုျပင္ေလးပါ။ အားလံုး နားေထာင္ဖူးၾကလိမ့္မယ္လို႕ ကၽြန္မထင္ပါတယ္။
ကၽြန္မတုိ႕ ငယ္ငယ္တုန္းကလည္း ဒီပံုျပင္ကို နားေထာင္ခဲ့ဖူးပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ထို္င္းစကားနဲ႕ေပါ့။
ခု ကၽြန္မေျပာျပမွာက ျမန္မာ စကားနဲ႕ပါ။
This week, the teacher assigns
a duty for me to talk. I will tell you a Myanmar tale concerning a cowboy and a
wolf. I think all of us have ever listened to this story before. When we were children,
we have ever listened to this story before, but it was in Thai. Now I will tell
you in Myanmar language.
ကဲ စေျပာၿပီ ေနာ္။
OK, let’s start talking…
ဟိုေရွးေရွးတုန္းက ရြာတရြာမွာ
ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားေလး တစ္ေယာက္ ရွိတယ္။ သူဟာ သူ႕ႏြားေတြကို ေတာင္နားကို ေခၚသြားၿပီး အစာေကၽြးတတ္ပါတယ္။
Once upon a time, in a village
there was a cowboy. He took his cows to feed near the hill.
တေန႕မွာ သူဟာပ်င္းလာလို႕
ရီစရာ ဟာသတခု ျပဳလုပ္ဖို႕ စဥ္းစားေနခဲ့တယ္။ ဒီလိုစဥ္းစားၿပီးေနာက္ သူဟာ ရြာကို ေျပးလာၿပီး
´၀ံပုေလြ´
၀ံပုေလြလို႕ ေအာ္ဟစ္ခဲ့တယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ရြာသားေတြဟာ လက္နက္ေတြကိုယူၿပီး
သူ႕ေနာက္ ကို အလွ်င္အျမန္ ေျပးလိုက္လာခဲ့ၾကတယ္။
One day, because he was bored, he was thinking to do
something funny. After he thought, he ran to the village shouting out loudly
“wolf! wolf!”. Therefore, villagers carried weapons and ran hurriedly after him.
ဒါေပမဲ့ ေတာင္ကုန္းနားကို
ေရာက္ေတာ့ ဘာ၀ံပုေလြကိုမွ မေတြ႕ခဲ့ရဘူး။ ဒီအခ်ိန္မွာ ရြာသားေတြဟာ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသား က
သူတို႕ကို အရူးလုပ္လိုက္ၿပီဆုိတာကို သိလို္က္ၾကတယ္။ အဲဒါေၾကာင့္ သူတို႕ဟာ မေက်မနပ္နဲ႕
ရြာကိုျပန္လာခဲ့ၾက တယ္။ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားကေတာ့ အဲဒီေနရာမွာရပ္ေနခဲ့ၿပီး ရီေမာေနခဲ့တယ္။
But when they arrived at the hill they could not see
any wolf. At this time, the villagers realized that they have been fooled by
the cowboy so they were frustrated and returned to the village. At that place,
the cowboy was standing there laughing.
ေနာက္ေန႕မွာ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားဟာ
ေနာက္ထပ္တဖန္ လိမ္ေျပာဖို႕ လာခဲ့ျပန္တယ္။
ဒီအခါမွာလည္း ရြာသားေတြဟာ ယံုၾကည္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားေလးကို ၀ံပုေလြထံမွ
ကယ္တင္ဖို႕အတြက္ လက္နက္ေတြနဲ႕ အလွ်င္ အျမန္ လုိက္လာၾကျပန္တယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ေတာင္ကုန္းနားကိုေရာက္တဲ့အခါ
သူက ရြာသားေတြကို ၾကည့္ၿပီး ရီေနခဲ့ျပန္ တယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ သူတို႕ဟာ တဖန္ အရူးလုပ္ခံရၿပီဆုိတာကို
သိလိုက္ရျပန္တယ္။
The next day, the cowboy did the same thing again by
returning to the village and told a lie. This time, the villagers also believed
him and wanted to save the cowboy from the wolf so they carried weapons and run
after him. But when they arrived at the hill, they saw the cowboy laughing. So
they realized that they have been fooled by the cowboy again.
ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာေတာ့ ကံမေကာင္းတဲ့ေန႕ကို
ေရာက္ရွိလာခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားေလးဟာ ေတာစပ္နားမွာ ၀ံုပေလြ တေကာင္ကို အမွန္တကယ္
ေတြ႕ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဒီအခါမွာ သူဟာ တကယ္ဘဲ ထိတ္လန္႕ သြားခဲ့တယ္။
Finally, an unlucky day came. The cowboy really
confronted a wolf near the forest. This time, he was certainly frighten.
ဒါေၾကာင့္ အကူအညီေတာင္းဖုိ႕
ရြာကိုေျပးသြားခဲ့တယ္။ သို႕ေသာ္လည္း ရြာသားေတြက သူ႕စကားကို မယံုၾကေတာ့ပါ ဘူး။ ဒီေကာင္ဟာ
ေနာက္ထပ္တမ်ိဳး လိမ္ေျပာျပန္ၿပီလို႕ ထင္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။ ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာေတာ့ ၀ံပုေလြဟာ ႏြားအုပ္
တ အုပ္လံုးကို စားပစ္လုိက္တယ္။ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားေလးဟာ ငိုရံုမွတပါးဘာမွ မတတ္ႏိုင္ေတာ့ပါဘူး။
So he ran to ask for help from the villagers but
they did not believe his words any more. They thought the cowboy told a lie
again. At the end, the wolf had eaten all cows in the herd. The cowboy could not
do anything except crying.

This is the end of the story.
